Description
Seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to manage a diverse range of legal matters. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all legal issues, including but not limited to contract law, intellectual property rights, labor and employment matters, litigation management, and compliance regulations.

Provide legal advice to the company, ensuring that it operates within legal guidelines.

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and contracts.

Handle litigation and dispute matters and coordinate with external counsel when necessary.

Advise on labor and employment-related matters.

Assist in the formulation of corporate legal strategy.

Participate in and prepare for board meetings, offering sound legal advice.

Navigate complex regulatory environments to ensure business operations remain compliant.

Develop and manage effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to the state bar

Significant experience in a legal role within a business environment, preferably as an In-house Counsel.

Comprehensive knowledge of statutes, rules, and regulations pertaining to the business.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively for timely completion.
