All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** PRN **Shift** : Days **Location:** 1055 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, 32763 **The community you’ll be caring for:** _AdventHealth Fish Memorial_ **The role you’ll contribute:** The Respiratory Therapist I will deliver safe and effective care, which is consistent with the standards of care for this discipline and in accordance with Florida Statute 468. This position requires the Respiratory Therapist I to be knowledgeable and proficient in the treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular disorders for inpatients and outpatients under the direction of the Respiratory Therapist II and III, Cardiopulmonary Manager and the Cardiopulmonary Medical and Administrative Directors. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** **:** · Prescribed medication via inhalation in accordance with the physician’s order. · Oxygen therapy in accordance with departmental oxygen protocol. · May demonstrate competency and perform airway care on infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients: · Performs diagnostic procedures to assist in diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and research. · Induction and collection of sputum specimen. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** **·** High School Diploma or GED. · Successful completion of a Respiratory Therapy program. · Requires no previous experience. · Minimum proficiency must be met within three months, and extension may be granted at the discretion of the Cardiopulmonary Manager. **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:** **·** Must have valid Florida license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist issued by the Agency for Health Care Administration.
