Market Intelligence Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will

have a background in business analysis, strategic planning, and data interpretation. The person in this role

will help shape a product vision that aligns with business objectives and industry trend. They will serve as the

bridge between stakeholders impacted by product delivery, including customers and end-users.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Identify and develop market intelligence data sources to help better understand the business environment within our key markets
  • Actively gathering information from diverse sources like market research reports, industry publications, competitor websites, customer surveys, economic data, social media, and internal sales data
  • Cultivate intelligence for key organizational projects including acquisitions, new product development, major capital projects, significant change initiatives, etc.
  • Deeply researching competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing, marketing tactics, and market share to assess their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Communicate key insights to senior leadership through presentations, dashboards, reports, etc. with cross-functional teams, create executable business strategies to sell solutions within key markets
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on discrete market events, develop ‘expert network’ for input & analysis
  • Collaborate with Innovation team to analyze and deepen understanding of ‘edge’ opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bacherlors degree. Master’s preferred or 5-8 years of equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred: degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems

Additonal Requirements 

  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
