The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Analysis:

  • Analyze financial performance and trends by extracting, organizing, and interpreting complex data from multiple systems (Source: Finance & Accounting).

  • Develop insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue growth.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.

  • Monitor budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to management for adjustments.

  • Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and dashboards for leadership, including profitability analyses, cash flow projections, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other ad hoc reports (Source: Financial Reporting).

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Modeling and Scenario Planning:

  • Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business opportunities, investments, and projects.

  • Assess risks and propose strategic approaches to mitigate those risks.

  • Compliance and Internal Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate reports and documentation.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and improve financial processes, workflows, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments on automation efforts related to financial reporting and analysis (Source: Finance Product Technology).

    Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).

  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CFP) is a plus.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or an equivalent role.

  • Previous experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting is preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

  • Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Core Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
