Responsibilities

Renders professional specialized wound care to patients including ostomy and continence care within Dominican Hospital in support of medical care as directed by physicians and in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.

ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall support Dominican Hospital’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Two years of full-time RN wound care experience

  • Four years of part-time RN wound care experience with ongoing active involvement in the care of wounded patients

Licensure:

  • Current and active CA RN license

  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association

  • WOCN or Wound Care Certification within 6 months of hire

Education:

  • Associates degree in Nursing

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing

Pay Range

$111.66 – $120.60 /hour
