Description
The Marketing’s Integrated Operations team of a major airline is actively seeking a Technical Project Manager, to ensure successful delivery of strategic end-to-end technical projects on time and on budget. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects across the analytics, data science, and technology & innovation teams. You’ll partner with Enablement project leads to ensure each project has a project plan that will deliver on the project’s strategic goal within an agreed-upon timeline. You’ll also need to understand the strategy of the project request to identify stakeholders and assess gaps while ensuring departmental process is followed.
Specific tasks include partnering with enablement leads on charter and/or brief development timelines, advising on scope feasibility, skillfully negotiating sensitive timelines, acting as a key point of contact for inter-departmental stakeholders, and supporting the SME team’s needs.
This person will report to the Manager, Transformation, and work collaboratively with the entire department across the Commercial; Brand; and Strategy, Planning, and Operations organizations. Your contributions will play a vital role in driving successful marketing transformation.

Experience with requirements gathering and project implementation.
Proficiency in project management tools (Workfront, Jira).
Strong data visualization skills and experience with analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
PMP certification preferred.

Key responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining project plans with dependencies within project management tool, Workfront
o Includes identifying key elements/deliverables, and plotting out an overarching project plan in close collaboration/partnership with the enablement lead and program sponsor for each supported project
- Provide timely and complete Status updates and key communications to stakeholders and team members regarding progress, impediments, and upcoming needs for project success
- Proactively escalate issues and problems impacting project timelines, scope, and/or quality to stakeholders, recommending mitigations and facilitating resolution
- Act as the Enablement (Analytics, Data Science, and Technology & Innovation) project lead’s right hand, including but not limited to leading integrated status calls, curating action items and recaps, building relationships, maintaining and communicating timelines, and escalating risks/issues
- Monitor project queue and follow SLAs for converting projects, partnering with SO&P project leads to validate project charters, and facilitating project Kick Off Call (KOCs)
- Maintaining an understanding of each full project and project scope
- Connecting the dots to ensure the right internal and inter-departmental stakeholders are present for the right discussions and decision points to ensure alignment on goals, strategy, approvals processes, outcomes, and beyond.
- Strive for efficiency through collaboration with the Strategy, Operations, and Planning Managers and SMEs while following process-oriented ways of working
- Ensuring internal and external Product work is accounted for and represented in the project plan
- Escalate and work to mitigate risks
- Keep Integrated Operations leaders and peers informed on team bandwidth issues
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 4-6+ years of proven technical project management experience successfully delivering complex technical projects

The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $55.00/hr.
