JOB TITLE: Aircraft Upholstery Technician II

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Under minimal supervision, fabricate and install aircraft upholstery and cover panels.
- Create simple patterns and follow engineering drawings and specifications to complete interior work.
- Fabricate and install flat panels, curtains, and simple covers per design specs
- Work with fabric, vinyl, leather, and composites using adhesives, sewing equipment, and power tools
- Cut and surge carpets; install and cover bulkheads, headliners, sidewalls, hatch panels, and windows
- Use material tracking system (Corridor) to request parts, track work, and sign off tasks
- Support process improvements alongside lead technicians using Lean principles
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and PPE requirements
- Identify and address unsafe conditions
- Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and upholstery hand tools
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
