The Senior Lease Administrator at Compass is a key member of the Lease Administration team and is responsible for conducting invoice review and reconciliations for Compass’s lease portfolio to ensure that operating expenses align with lease terms. This role involves overseeing lease administration functions, including real estate portfolio administration, database management, and audit services, while working with the broader Lease Administration team to ensure accuracy and compliance with Compass’s business standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage preparation of monthly rent roll in accordance with lease provisions
- Compare and evaluate operating expense and tax reconciliation statements for Compass’s lease portfolio
- Communicate with Landlords regarding lease payments and charges
- Perform full-scope desktop and annual audits for corporate leases and recommend actions for audit recovery.
- Prepare reports of findings and ensure accurate credits and charges are recorded.
- Act as team lead overseeing the preparation of CAM reconciliations for accuracy and adherence to Compass standards.
- Create training procedures for operating expense reconciliation and tenant recovery preparation.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job discipline and related functions.
Qualifications
- College Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
- Experience with United States lease practices, terms and conditions, customs and practices.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products, including Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Visual lease experience is a plus
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $57,000-$85,500 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
