We are seeking a Site Operations Administrative Assistant at AFRL, Edwards, AFB CA.
Key Roles:
- Interprets directives from the customer and provides the appropriate direction, administration and monitoring of various tasks.
- Works with Host Base agencies to gather scheduling information and provides updates to the Site Operations Staff and Facilities Groups
- May be required to work independently on tasks and assist in making presentations to the customer.
- Coordinates facilities and infrastructure actions with appropriate Facility Managers, outside organizations and Site Operations Control Center to maintain open communications and avert program impact.
- Monitor and work requirements for AFRL facilities via an automated scheduling system.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Learn and Operate the AFRL Site Operations Control Center as an alternate operator.
- Must be able to think and work independently but share information freely and works toward the team goals of the AFRL.
- Must be able to express thoughts in a clear concise manner both orally and written; ability to communicate well in person, over the phone and through E-mail.
- Ability to respond to changing business requirements and priorities.
- Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice.
Experience/Education
- High School diploma.
- 1-2 years relevant experience in executive assistance and office administration.
- College Degree will count towards experience.
