The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for an Instructional Aide position at Milton Middle School (grades 7 – 8). This position will start August 19, 2025 and the employee will be working eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. This position will begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
The employee will assist students with daily lessons, assist the teachers with developing learning materials, and support our AVID elective tutorials. Other responsibilities beyond the classroom include providing additional support (tutorial assistance) to students outside of the classroom and supervision of students in other settings (cafeteria, recess and after school).
A starting wage of $16.60 per hour is offered for instructional aides, with additional compensation available for candidates with aide experience in a public-school setting. A highly competitive benefits package is also included.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to collaboratively work with others (including other aides, teachers, students and parents). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and demonstrate empathy for children. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required.
Experience and knowledge of AVID is preferred.
