The Senior Accountant – LATAM, this role has the responsibility to support all finance areas related to Latin America (LATAM) accounting and reporting. You will have the responsibility of assisting the local LATAM accounting teams, delivering accurate and timely accounting services, and partnering with key business partners. This role is part of the Global Shared Services team, whose vision is to provide superior service experiences to our customers and employees to support scalable business growth.
What You’ll Do
General Ledger
- General ledger journals are appropriately created and uploaded in accordance with accounting principles and month-end timetables.
- Review financial data prepared by local LATAM accounting teams.
- Assist with Accounts Payable tasks as needed.
- Ensure global policies and procedures are being followed.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
Intercompany Profit Eliminations and FX
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting between entities.
- Work with business partners to ensure that the correct profit eliminations have taken place.
- Prepare journal entries, as appropriate.
- Ensure proper translation and revaluation of the foreign currency trial balance.
Financial Accounting
- Assist with internal and external audit requests as required.
- Support process improvements through the Finance Department.
- Perform analysis and financial research, providing feedback to Controller.
- Ensure internal controls are effective and efficient.
- Prepare analytics and reasonableness analysis, including month-end highlights
Business Partnering
- On a regular basis, you will interact with our Latin America finance teams in Argentina and Mexico.
- Key business partner with the Commercial Finance team
- Presents business analytics of transactions to facilitate decision making and variance analysis.
- Flexibility to accommodate global time zones to support the global finance team objective.
- Understanding of customer (internal and external) needs and adaptability to drive and deliver a superior service to the key stakeholders.
- Presents business case to stakeholders on accounting impacts of transactions / helps develop solutions to challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- BA/BS in business, accounting, finance, or related field with equivalent experience.
- Three to five years of experience of a finance function
- Good understanding of revenue recognition accounting principles and end-to-end processes of the order-to-cash cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented and can meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to read and write Spanish.

Pay Range
$71,920 – $133,565 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
