Part Time – Host – Poteau Chili’s

Part Time Pay: $11.50 Hourly Schedule: Variable (Based On Business Needs.)

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Chili’s Host provides a warm, welcoming greeting to our guests. You will responsible for providing a great guest dining experience. The Chili’s Host will also ensure guests are seated promptly and provide a sincere and heartfelt thank you to each guest as they leave. You will report to the General Manager or Shift Lead.

Primary Tasks:

• You will maintain a cheerful disposition and a neat, clean, and professional image.
• Need proficient knowledge of the menu to explain our offerings to the Guests, inform them of current food promotions and specials, and answer my questions.
• Greet guests and open the door for each Guest upon entering and departing.
• Assess the guest demeanor and identify when behavior are called to the attention of a Manager.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
• You will bid farewell to guests leaving. Ensure everything was satisfactory and invite guests to return.
• Keep foyer, host area, and cocktail tables clean and free of clutter.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Hotel station and ensure all menus are stocked and cleaned.
• Restock necessary supplies and bring all areas up to standard.
• Inspect restrooms periodically and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Perform shift change and opening or closing responsibilities.
• Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
• You will assist other Team Members when needs dictate.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned

Requirements:

• Required to stand/walk 100% of shift
• Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
• Plate food, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
• Verbalize and respond to Guests
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience
