User Experience Researcher – Acton, Mass. or San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

We are growing and looking for a User experience (UX) Researcher in the growing Innovation & Strategy organization to accomplish our mission. The UX Researcher will help design and execute quantitative and qualitative UX research to identify new opportunities and improve our product experiences. The ideal candidate has a flexible attitude and wants to contribute to innovation through rigorous research and constant learning.

Responsibilities

  • Work with experienced Senior UX Researchers and UX Leadership to execute studies in support of the research roadmap
  • Autonomously lead projects from end-to-end from stakeholders to delivery and ideation
  • For larger projects, take direction and collaborate effectively with the project lead researcher
  • Design large-scale surveys and analyze them, leveraging solid design of experiment and statistical expertise.
  • Design and analyze qualitative and mixed-method studies (e.g. interviews etc…)
  • Complete report writing, visualizations and creation of actionable recommendations
  • Complete with participant recruiting and notetaking
  • Moderate in-depth interview session remotely as well as in-person
  • Be the active voice of UX research in cross-functional meetings
  • Perform other research-related duties, such as process improvement
  • Seek feedback from lead or manager and constantly focus on improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in quantitative CX, UX, Human Factors, or Marketing/Customer Insights, with focus on researching experiences and products preferred
  • Strong desire to understand and improve the lives of People living With Diabetes.
  • Highly collaborative
  • Experience with design of experiment and statistical analysis
  • Experience with qualitative research
  • Experience with data visualization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable about diabetes
  • Worked in regulated medical spaces
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative research tools (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional ideation
  • Demonstrated logic and coding skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced collaborative culture with tight deadlines
  • Strong desire to work cross-functionally with UX design, Data Science, Marketing and Human Factors.

Physical Requirements

  • NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from our Acton office at least 3x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,475.00 – $138,712.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
