Join the 30+ faculty in the Division of Emergency and Trauma Imaging in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University. The division provides clinical services across 7 hospitals, including Georgia’s largest Level 1 trauma center. Details:
- 13 weeks of clinical duty per year, consisting of 7-day blocks of overnight shifts (10pm-7am) followed by 21 days off.
- Work remotely from home anywhere in the USA except Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey. Microsoft Teams used for communication with assistance from 24-hour reading room coordinator.
- Shifts involve whole-body acute care imaging (ED & Inpatient). Mainly CT, US, and XR with a small component of MRI.
- Successful candidates will be staffed in tandem with existing emergency/acute care radiologists and an emergency neuroradiologist (becoming the 5th overnight radiologist per night in the healthcare system).
- Provide remote support to residents who currently work overnight.
- Very competitive base salary with annual incentive bonus, professional development fund and retirement contribution. Possibility for clinically focused model with 40 additional evening shifts for increased base salary and productivity bonus.

Candidates should have an interest in acute care imaging, possess strong clinical skills in multiple modalities and organ systems, thrive in a fast-paced emergency and inpatient setting and work well in collaboration with other radiologists. The Division operates 24/7/365. Candidates should be prepared to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Candidates with subspecialty training are preferred. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
NOTE: Tasks related to this position can be performed remotely with only occasional visits to an Emory University location. Eastern (EST) time zone business hours may apply.
