position DESCRIPTION
A Warehouse Dispatcher at SET Environmental is responsible for:
- Monitoring all requests incoming via phone or email for pickup and/or delivery of goods
- Directing communications with site contractors and customers regarding pickup and delivery needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Dispatching of personnel to appropriate locations for pickup and/or delivery services
- Oversight of pickup and delivery personnel to include up to minute knowledge of the location of personnel and assigned vehicles
- Efficient allocation of pickup and delivery resources to ensure established pickup and delivery times are met
- Management of sample move requests submitted in STARLIMs software
- Receiving to include verification of goods receipts and GR entry in SAP software
- Direct communications and accountability to SET Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Manager
- Serve as backup for Warehouse Receiving Lead as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
- Must be highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively interact with different departments and Management levels
- Positive attitude and ability to encourage and influence others
- Must present a professional persona at all times
- Must have strong computer skills that can be demonstrated, that include use of Excel, Word, MS e-mail, etc.
- Must have experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- Must have a valid driver license and ability to drive a company vehicle
