A Class A Driver at SET Environmental is responsible for:
- Safely transporting material from customer sites to disposal and treatment facilities in compliance with DOT regulations
- Ensuring the health and safety of the customer, equipment, and site by adhering to SET safety policies, and procedures by identifying, communicating and mitigating hazards
- Working in tandem with SET field service personnel on various projects
- Daily inspections of equipment and supplies for project needs
- The safe operation of various types of equipment ranging from, but not limited to:
- Roll-off trailer and straight truck
- Vacuum and product tankers
- 48’ and 53’ Dry van
- Flatbed, lowboy trailers
- 3000-gallon liquid vac
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Minimum 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience with 1 year of tractor trailer experience
- Tanker, Haz-Mat endorsement or ability to obtain
- Ability to perform out of town runs as needed, and be available for on-call rotation
- Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently
- Maintain Electronic driver’s log on company provided smart phone
- Must pass/maintain physical requirements including DOT medical card
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements
