The Trust and Safety(TnS) engineering team are responsible for protecting our users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. With the continuous efforts of our trust and safety engineering team, TikTok can provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world. We are building an engineering team dedicated to Trust and Safety’s Risk and Response business. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams (XFN) that include Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and QAs, to establish public trust through providing solutions to support risk and response business, especially escalation handling. Key Responsibilities – Build a highly scalable, efficient and robust trust, and safety platform and tools; – Understand product objectives to develop an easy-to-use platform that aligns with customers’ needs; – Collaborate with trust and safety specialists, experts, and machine learning engineers; – Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services; – Work with Trust and Safety teams to protect TikTok globally.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: – Bachelor or above degree in computer science or a related technical discipline; – Proficiency in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language: python/go/php/c++/java; – Had solid user-facing product experience in building, designing, and scaling software architecture – Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges. – Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: – Experience in trust and safety or risk control system design and implementation is preferred.
