CNC Machine Operator – Water Jet All Shifts (Full-Time, Hire-In Opportunity)
Location: Grand Haven, MI

A leading manufacturer of glass and mirror products in Grand Haven, MI is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators to join their growing team. Operators will work with a CNC water jet cutting system to produce high-quality glass components for custom and commercial applications.

position Highlights
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 5:50 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 1:50 PM – 10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 9:50 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00/hr (based on experience)
Overtime: Available on weekends
Type: Full-Time Evaluation-to-Hire Long-Term Career Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a CNC water jet cutting machine to accurately cut and shape glass products
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
- Load, position, and secure glass materials safely
- Adjust machine settings and offsets as needed for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Communicate with team members and supervisors about production progress and any issues
Requirements
- 1+ years of CNC Machine Operator experience (experience with water jet, laser, or router CNCs preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
- Commitment to safety, precision, and quality
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
