Welder position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, experience with fabrication from blueprints, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to produce high-quality metal components.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding (as required by the job).
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
Use tools such as grinders, saws, shears, etc.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately.
Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and clean condition.
Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding (certifications preferred).
Knowledge of metal types and properties.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
