The Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Chromalloy. They play a critical role in ensuring that the company’s staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for high volume, hourly manufacturing roles.
This position is a hybrid role with occasional on-site presence at our facilities in San Diego, CA and Mexicali, MX. Candidates must be located in the U.S. within commutable distance of San Diego.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies to find potential candidates.
- Screening Applications: Review resumes and cover letters to determine the suitability of candidates for specific roles.
- Conducting Interviews: Schedule and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Managing Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the ATS.
- Building Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
- Offer Management: Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms as necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
- education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting. Aerospace manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but is not required.
- Knowledge of recruitment practices and regulations in Mexico is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, including sort/filter, basic functions, formatting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
