Candidate will lead and participate in software development, testing and integration efforts
Organize, coordinate and facilitate validation and testing of multi-vendor based space and ground hardware and software systems
Derive requirements through interactions with customers/users
Test, deploy and maintain applications
Configuration management
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or any other relevant technical field or equivalent experience plus 5+ years of software development and testing experience
Master’s Degree in computer Science or Electrical Engineering or any other relevant technical field or equivalent experience plus 3+ years of software development and testing experience
High School diploma or GED with 7+ years of software development and testing experience
Proficient with C++ programing language,
Experience with oriented programing languages
Qt to design graphical interfaces
Windows and Linux OS based programming experience
Familiar with configuration management practices (i.e. SVN, CVS, Git, and etc.)
Experience of developing a large piece of software (i.e. >10k lines of executable code)
Familiar with concurrent programming practices (i.e. using threads, synchronization, etc.)
Must have active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Web Development Skills – Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services
