Job Description
The Seasonal Anchorage Accounting Associate will support the efficient operation of the company by assisting with a wide range of administrative and accounting functions. In addition, the Accounting Coordinator will also provide financial analysis and support as required.
Ideal dates of employment are May 1 – September 17, 2025.
Job Responsibilities

Pulling daily sales for our properties and reconciling revenue.

Banking and credit card reconciliations.

Analyzing and preparing daily labor reports.

Assisting with coding and vendor inquiries.

Making journal or ledger entries.

Partnering with other staff members to compile, analyze, and report financial data.

Assisting with audits and identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Using bookkeeping software and entering information into company files or databases, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate.

Assist in special projects and year end projects as requested.

Qualifications

Previous experience in accounting is desirable.

Some college is preferred.

Knowledge of any financial Software is preferred.

Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office

Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager (https://resources.workable.com/accounts-receivable-job-description) or accountant

Solid understanding of basic accounting (https://resources.workable.com/accounting-clerk-job-description) principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
