Accounts Receivable Clerk in Niles, Illinois

Description

We are welcoming an Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team within a growing profitable manufacturing company, based in NILES, Illinois. In this role, you will be involved in handling interacting with our staff regarding payroll and collections. handling cash application and possibly accounts payable entries ensuring accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with the responsibility of monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience handling account receivable or accounts payables.

• Proficiency in using accounting software including excel.

• Experience in billing procedures and cash applications

• previous experience handling collections a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record keeping

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Associates degree a plus
