Advanced Analytics Lab Research Engineer

Job Description

Ware seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Engineer with experience in simulation, algorithm development, software development and testing.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges in the defense or related industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement desinged based on IRAD needs
  • Develop and maintain simulation environments for testing and evaluating
  • Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to improve model performance.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI/ML models into existing systems.
  • Document and present research findings and technical solutions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision principles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing ATR algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data science tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with synthetic data generation and data augmentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of software development best practices.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 – $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
