Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role’s specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.

The Opportunity

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the completion of all tasks related to the Best Execution Functions for Ally Invest Securities (AIS) and Ally Invest Advisors (AIA). Due diligence includes the accurate reporting of findings through established reporting functions and ensuring corporate compliance and risk management. The position will require the ability to perform in-depth analysis, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

The Work Itself

• Conduct Daily Reviews of Exception Reports
• Produce Monthly Reporting for Best Execution Forum
• Provide analysis and insight into the reporting presented to teams across the AIS and AIS landscape
• Participate in Monthly Calls with Market Centers and other vendors
• Interface and communicate with stakeholders to obtain all information required.
• Be a support and backup for FINRA CAT/CAIS issues and daily monitoring
• Leverage information between other areas of expertise.

The Skills You Bring

• 1+ year of brokerage experience required (retail trading experience recommended)
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
• Proficient in intermediate MS applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
• Financial analysis and analytic/problem solving skills required
• Desire to learn PowerBI
• Ability to turn large data sets into presentation materials for executives
• High level of written and oral communication skills as well as attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly

Base Pay Range: $47840 – $75000 USD

An individual’s position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. 

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
