position Summary:
Manages all on site construction functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company.

Technical/Functional Responsibilities:

  • Supervises all personnel at the site through subordinate leaders
  • Manages project indirect overhead budgets
  • Develops fiscal plans
  • Monitors performance and utilization; provides periodic projects
  • Functions as liaison between engineering and construction sites
  • Responsible for constructability and construction planning during engineering phase

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall management and coordination of construction for the project to maximize productivity and maintain schedule.

  • Develops contingency and recovery plans as required.

  • Monitors equipment performance and utilization; provides continuous improvement input and strategy development.

  • Requires knowledge of construction techniques and equipment in order to develop strategies and manage overall quality and efficiency to ensure daily production.

  • Develop solutions to complex problems that require a significant degree of innovation and ingenuity.

  • Manages all on-site functions in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company.

  • Develops procedures as needed and functions as liaison between multiple project managers, construction and contractors.

  • Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures, and has front line responsibility for providing a safe work environment

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years’ experience as a Construction Manager in an construction a=organization with LNG experience

  • BS or MS degree is preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

  • Professional Engineering certification in related discipline is preferred

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
