Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000

position Summary
As a member of the Fox Graduate division team reporting directly to the Director of Fox Graduate Programs, the Assistant Director of MBA Programs, assists with coordinating program management and support for MBA students.
The Assistant Director, under supervision from the Director of Graduate Programs, will participate in all aspects of student services, including answering student program questions, solving registration issues, participating in the planning and delivery of orientations, launching program/course evaluations, and supporting graduation and co-curricular activities for students. The Assistant Director works with the Director, Executive Director, and Academic Directors to ensure that students’ needs are being addressed.
The Assistant Director actively participates in the recruitment and yielding of MBA students with the Graduate Enrollment Management Office, and works closely with the Center for Student Professional Development to ensure that students have a positive overall graduate experience. In addition, as part of the Graduate team, the Assistant Director will contribute to the overall mission of the Fox Graduate and International Programs’ Office by working collaboratively with the entire graduate team to cross-sell and support the school’s suite of MBA and Specialized Master’s programs. When necessary, the incumbent will support the other programs in the graduate division.
Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree
* At least three (3) years of experience in higher education program management
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience
* Master’s degree in Business or Education
Required Skills and Abilities
* Demonstrated experience in higher education administration, program management, and/or student advising, development, and/or student services
* Demonstrated ability to work as a team player as well as to proactively interact across multiple levels, units, and divisions
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to independently anticipate and identify problems, obstacles and opportunities and take decisive action to address them or escalate them as appropriate
* Demonstrated customer service skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff
* Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks with competing deadlines
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications and ability to use web-based computer software such as Zoom, Banner, Salesforce, Canvas etc.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
* Ability to travel to Temple University Main Campus, Temple University Center City Campus as well as off-campus sites that may not be accessible via public transportation
* Performs other duties as assigned
This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
