Join our team of elite hospitality professionals at the recently built, state of the art, KPMG Lakehouse in Lake Nona. KPMG Lakehouse boasts 800 single king bed sleeping rooms, over 100,000 square feet of multi-purpose meeting space, along with 4 unique food and beverage venues including a 500+ seat three meal venue that features 8 diverse culinary experiences. 

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager responsibilities include: 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Outlets to effectively train and develop a team of skilled colleagues to service all facility dining outlets 
  • Support and manage the facility’s state of the art dining outlets including the wine bar, coffee shop, and featured 500+ seat dining venue 
  • Work with team leaders to creatively enhance the functionality and overall aesthetics of the various participant dining outlets within the facility 
  • Work closely with Event Planning team to ensure effective scheduling of F&B team members to ensure a seamless dining experience by all participants 
  • Monitor and control budgets of facility food and beverage outlets

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in food and beverage leadership, preferably in a similar setting 
  • Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and business partners 
  • Established experience as a team leader, with proven ability to achieve business goals and motivate team members 
  • Be computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • The ideal candidate of this position will possess the ability to adapt to various situations as they arise, display empathy in all interactions with both colleagues and participants, evaluate departmental practices in an effort to continually enhance the participant experience, and encourage collaboration and creativity among team members
