OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the execution and budget of assigned projects, leads weekly production meetings, creates and maintains production calendars ensuring the team is staying on track.
  • Work with producer to maintain prep and shooting schedules, pre-production books, travel and hotel accommodations, acquiring support crew, call sheets, crew and talent timecards and recordkeeping, vendor contracts and purchase orders
  • Assistance with casting needs including but not limited to location and booking talent, negotiating rates, travel and transportation needs. As well as updating internal systems with talent information and legal documents
  • Work collaboratively and constructively on each project with others on the team including Producers, Creative Managers, Photo Coordinators, Data Asset Managers, other Creative Team members, as well as any external partners
  • Assist with booking fit models for each style out, confirming availability through final payment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related business field
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience as a Coordinator, Asst. Producer, or Asst. Studio Manager in an agency, studio, production company, fashion brand or retail company.
  • Ability to function in a fast paced, always on team environment
  • Strong workflow management, planning, problem solving and communication skills
  • High level computer proficiency and knowledge of everyday software and apps (Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe InDesign)
  • Some experience with shoot budgets, processing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining talent/legal documents
  • Working knowledge of creative, photographic and digital processes as they relate to photo and video shoot production
  • Knowledge of casting and talent selection process
  • Interest for negotiation, budget management, and problem solving skills when dealing with external studios, agencies, and talent
  • Understanding of budget forecasting and planning
  • Understanding photography usage, terminology, and market pricing
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Travel 30%
