Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Audio/Visual Event Audio Technician to assist in planning and executing world class internal corporate events for our client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our events are well-coordinated, technically flawless, and deliver an exceptional experience. How You Will Make An Impact
- Primary audio engineer (A1) for diverse internal corporate meetings, town halls, workshops, presentations, and other live events
- Provide best practices, capabilities, and coordination for audio quality and mixing for hybrid and livestream events across multiple locations
- Configure, deploy, operate, and maintain a diverse set of live audio equipment including mixers, microphones, preamps, digital/analog converters, etc.
- Configure and deploy dedicated DSP processors (i.e. QSYS, Biamp)
- Assist with setup and tear down of mobile event equipment as needed
- Coordinate RF frequency utilization
- Assist with other aspects/areas of live event production as a secondary duty
- Regularly liaison with high-level stakeholders including corporate executives and their assistants, providing excellent customer service and event experiences
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a live event technician in a corporate environment, with specific experience and expertise in audio
- Proficiency with setup, operation and maintenance of live audio equipment commonly utilized in corporate settings, including:
- Digital Mixers (i.e. Yamaha)
- Microphones
- Wireless Transmitters/Receivers
- PA equipment including installed and portable systems
- Proficiency with common corporate audio scenarios and appropriate solutions, including:
- Keynote addresses
- Panel Discussions
- Board Meetings
- Proficiency with best practices for stage management and preparing talent for event success, as it applies to audio (i.e., mic technique, presenter coaching best practices)
- Proficiency with DSP programming, with applicable certifications preferred:
? QSC Q-SYS (applicable certifications preferred)
? Tesira Biamp
- Proficient with Dante; Dante Certification Level 2 preferred
- Experience with basic RF coordination software and procedures (i.e., Shure Wireless Workbench)
- Experience with live show communication best practices (intercom, run of show documentation, etc.)
- Working knowledge of common hybrid meeting software (Zoom)
- Working knowledge of Google Apps for Business, including Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Groups
- Proven, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to regularly work onsite, out of our client’s office in San Francisco

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed to support event schedules
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges
- Experience working with external AV vendors and managing vendor relationships is a plus
