The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving top line revenue sales by finding and converting new customers. They will spend the majority of their time hunting for and converting new target customers, consisting primarily of large Industrial OEM’s. Travel requirements are between 50% – 75% across the US. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies necessary to find and close new business.

Preferred geographic locations as a home base include; Texas, Michigan, and South Carolina.
Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks
Grow company revenue consistent with target customer profile
Diversify customer base by adding new customers
Assist in the development of, and execute sales initiatives
Maintain sales activity and opportunity reporting
Develop and execute sales strategies for territory or assigned customer set to increase revenue and strengthen relationships with customer set.
Develop and lead integrated account management approach between Sales, Engineering and Operations
Skills & Knowledge
Minimum 5+ Years of Sales and Business Development experience in the management of key and strategic sales accounts
Minimum 3+ years packaging or wood products industry experience and knowledge
Minimum 4-year college degree is preferred
Ability to clearly express ideas and messages, internally and externally, both verbally and in writing
Strong relationship building skills.
Demonstrated ability to make fact-based decisions and work in a collaborative environment
