Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Car Detailer to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation. As a Car Detailer, you will be responsible for enhancing the appearance of vehicles through thorough cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of both interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards
- Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to restore shine and remove imperfections
- Vacuum and shampoo upholstery, carpets, and other interior surfaces
- Apply protective finishes to exteriors and interiors
- Use specialized tools and chemicals safely and effectively
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of detailing bay and equipment
- Report any vehicle damage or issues to supervisors
- Occasionally assist with vehicle pick-up and delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in automotive detailing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
