Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

As a Carpenter, you will perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including rough and finish carpentry, to help construct and complete residential projects. Your expertise will ensure the proper installation of structural components and interior finishes, adhering to all building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough carpentry tasks, including framing walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Install windows, doors, and other structural components.
  • Execute finish carpentry tasks, such as installing trim, molding, cabinetry, and other interior finishes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction.

  • Proven experience as a rough/finish carpenter in residential construction.
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $30.00/hr.
