Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to work with various materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in loading and unloading parts, implementing tool changes as necessary, and navigating a manufacturing environment. experience interfacing with MAZAK CNC lathes and mills is essential, along with the ability to inspect parts and interpret blueprint readings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot MAZAK CNC lathes and mills.
• Load and unload parts with precision.
• Implement tool changes when required.
• Inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Interpret and read blueprints accurately.
• Start programs from scratch and perform necessary edits.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience with mill and lathe operations.
• Proficiency in Mazatrol programming.
• Ability to create and edit CNC machining programs.

Work Environment

The position is set in an industrial machine shop environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $29.00/hr.
