Job Title: Collections Specialist II

If you’re experienced in collections or banking and ready to take your career to the next level, our Collections Specialist II role offers the chance to manage complex cases and make a lasting impact. You’ll work with customers, agencies, and internal partners to find fair, compliant, and effective repayment solutions.

A Day in the Life

You’ll handle a mix of tasks-from speaking with past-due customers and setting up repayment plans to coordinate repossessions and managing third-party collection agencies. You’ll research account details, prepare documentation, and ensure all actions comply with federal and state regulations. Each day brings new challenges that will draw on your analytical skills and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years customer service, collection or banking experience
  • Strong understanding of FDCPA, as well as other state laws and regulations
  • Understanding of debt collection practices and methods in various stages of delinquency
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel for early training
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbally), work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly and work independently and as a team member.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
