position Title: Commercial Appraisal Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and credentialed Commercial Appraisal Manager to lead our commercial appraisal operations within the bank. This role is critical to maintaining valuation integrity, regulatory compliance, and supporting our commercial lending team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of appraisal reviewers and processors, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.

* Review commercial real estate appraisals for quality, compliance, and risk assessment.

* Serve as a point of contact for loan officers regarding valuation questions and appraisal-related inquiries.

* Oversee workflow and monitor performance metrics.

* Collaborate with credit and lending teams to support sound decision-making.

* Ensure compliance with USPAP, bank policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

* A Certified General Appraiser License (active and in good standing) is required.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal and/or banking.

* Professional designation (e.g., MAI, AI-GRS, CCIM) is strongly preferred.

* Proven leadership experience in managing teams and appraisal operations.

* Strong communication and analytical skills.

* Familiarity with banking regulations and valuation standards.
