Commercial Real Estate Staff Attorney

Venable LLP’s Commercial Real Estate Group seeks an experienced attorney with deep experience in all aspects of commercial real estate work to join the practice as a staff attorney. This opportunity is open in all markets where Venable has an office.

The qualified candidate has a minimum of eight years of experience in a law firm setting and is well-versed in all aspects of commercial acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of real estate. Candidates must also be proficient in title and survey due diligence. The successful candidate has excellent communication skills and attention to detail, is entrepreneurial, a problem solver, and values providing top-notch legal service. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction’s bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions and a brief cover letter noting preferred office location.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $180,000 – $230,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
