Kearney & Company is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team! The Contracts Administrator is responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a variety of contracts, including Government contracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Department of Defense supplement to the FAR (DFARS), GSA Schedules, and the Federal contracting lifecycle. The successful candidate is extremely organized, responsive, and service-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-based environment. Individual must have strong written and verbal skills to effectively interface with all levels of management and Government officials. Must be able to work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements in line with corporate policy and objectives
- Assist with contract negotiations and work with clients and management to develop resolutions to issues and/or business disputes
- Prepare requests for proposals to subcontractors, analyze RFPs and solicitations, pricing, and contract terms and conditions
- Ensure business/price proposals comply with solicitation requirements, GSA Schedule terms and conditions, and company policies and procedures
- Prepare internal contracts reports and information for contract management, and complete Federally mandated reporting
- Work closely with the corporate Accounting Department to ensure proper contract set up and close out, including the understanding and entry of contract information into the contract management system, and coordination and resolution of accounting and invoicing issues related to contract provisions
- Maintain soft-copy contracts records and accurately enter contract data in contract management software
- Maintain extensive verbal and written communications with contracting personnel at Government agencies and commercial firms to substantiate contract actions
- Negotiate contract and subcontract terms and conditions, contract and subcontract modifications, and discuss issues of contract performance and administration, invoicing issues, and close outs with contracting personnel at Government agencies and commercial firms
- Assist corporate management with advising internal clients on various corporate policies, procedures, approaches and preferred practices
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 3 years of experience with contract administration for contracts with the Federal Government
- Working knowledge and experience referencing and interpreting the FAR/DFARS, and various other Federal agency regulations
- Working knowledge of GSA Schedules and all contract types
- Ability to read and understand RFPs and contractual terms
- Experience with analyzing, redlining, and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Sound judgment and discretion, strong commitment to ethics, and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Knowledge of Salesforce / DocuSign, or similar document / pipeline management software a plus
- Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)

The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
