ABOUT THE ROLE

The Holcim Building Envelope Corporate Communications team is responsible for protecting and promoting the HBE reputation in alignment with Holcim Group. We are communications

consultants, brand stewards, and storytellers, and we identify, source, create, and shape Holcim Building Envelope messaging and content for various channels. The Corporate Communications team plays a central role in amplifying essential topics in close collaboration with colleagues across business units and functions. The team is proactive and stays on top of internal and external developments to support our market positioning according to the company strategy, vision, and purpose at every opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Supporting corporate communications strategy and initiatives across a diverse portfolio of building materials brands and product lines.
  • Serving as an internal journalist and storyteller, proactively seeking out opportunities to tell the story of HBE and its brands.
  • Developing and producing engaging written content and creative visual/multimedia assets to engage teammates and external audiences, including: website articles and copy, company-wide emails and campaigns, photos and videos, infographics, social media posts, digital signage, newsletter articles, project profiles, and more for internal and external channels.
  • Executing HBE social media strategy and creating compelling social media content that aligns with corporate messaging pillars and meets corporate communications goals.
  • Draft executive posts for major initiatives and milestones.
  • Ensuring messaging consistency across the organization, adhering to brand guidelines and the corporate style.
  • Creating content for company-wide emails, newsletter and intranet—collecting story submissions and ideas, writing articles and updates to provide relevant and engaging information to employees, coordinate content.
  • Partnering in day-to-day PR activities with our agency, including drafting scripts, speeches, press releases, issue briefs, and other content to support PR and media relations efforts.
  • Working alongside marketing, branding and events, digital, HR, and strategy teams to stay aware of external and internal trends, initiatives, and activities that are relevant to our industry and portfolio of products.
  • Measuring relevant key performance indicators for content, assets, and related materials.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 3-5 years of experience preferred in prominent corporate brands and corporate/matrixed environments.
  • Degree in journalism, PR, communications, marketing or related fields..
  • Written and visual content production, including writing and graphic design. Video skills are a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills in a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet shifting deadlines with high attention to detail and timelines, a strong sense of professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Creating varied assets for external and internal channels, such as emails and newsletters, presentations, videos, photography, infographics, podcasts, social media posts, and more; familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Adept at navigating various communications and digital platforms, such as email marketing, digital signage, intranet content, social media, and design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • A proven experience in creating content for multiple channels and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Experience managing end-to-end content development, deployment, and measurement.
  • Self-motived with a proactive attitude, always focused on continuous improvement.
