U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking Crib Attendee for our Brookhaven MS location.

Scope of Work:

Under general supervision, this position will keep track of inventory, store and issue hand tools and other equipment. Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.

Crib Shifts – Monday – Friday – 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am

Duties include:

  • Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
  • Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
  • Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
  • Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
  • Deliver tools or equipment to workers.
  • Marks and identifies tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

experience/Skill Sets:

  • Good knowledge of machine shops and mechanical maintenance tools and their repair.
  • Must be able to communicate orally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • Ability to keep simple records and make arithmetic computations accurately.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Experience handling and counting inventory is desired
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary
  • Must be able to operate a computer with the ability to learn new software

    NOTE: This position is designed as essential and, as such, all duties associated with this job are required during emergency situations which may include but are not limited to inclement weather, disaster response and emergency operations. VDOT/Project Management will determine when essential positions are required.

    Valid driver’s license is required. DMV records check is required. Pre-employment drug screen is required.
