In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of analytical tasks while also executing preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including construction machinery, trucks, and gasoline or diesel-powered cars. Your duties will encompass servicing numerous systems, such as hydraulic, electrical, heating, cooling, and exhaust systems, in addition to both manual and automatic transmissions. You will also be tasked with performing state vehicle inspections on all applicable equipment, ensuring that work orders are completed accurately, and diligently recording the time allocated to each task. It is crucial to promptly report any incidents or damages related to the equipment. To excel in this position, you must possess the ability to identify appropriate repair procedures for heavy machinery and make necessary mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Furthermore, prioritizing a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues, and equipment operators is of utmost importance.
