Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic – Mining Industry Direct Hire Idaho, WA
We are hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics to join a well-established mining company in Idaho. This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and long-term career advancement. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, heavy machinery, and hydraulic and electrical systems.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including haul trucks, dozers, graders, tractors, forklifts, and light-duty vehicles.
- Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including suspension and steering components.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and repair techniques.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Prior experience with heavy equipment maintenance is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems is advantageous.
- An associate degree or certification in Diesel or Automotive Technology is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 – $83200.00/yr.
