Director of Family Driven Practice – Worcester – (2500033P)
The Department of Mental Health, Central Mass Area Office Child, Youth and Family Division (CYF) in Worcester is seeking a dynamic Coordinator of Family Driven Practice (CFDP) to support system change and develop a community connected treatment system which is strengths based, family driven, youth guided and culturally relevant. The CFDP will serve as the link within the Intensive Community Services (ICS) system as well as through DMH and other community-based services supporting family voice.
Please Note: This is a full-time 40-hour position. The schedule for this position is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The days off will be Saturday and Sunday.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and (A) Peer certification through a recognized Certified Specialist Program and at least (B) three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a Mental Health Coordinator in the mental health or health care field, of which (C) at least one year must have been in a supervisory or professional capacity.
Based on assignment to a Family Support Specialist position applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and (A) completion of an approved Professional Parent Advisory League (PAL) entry-level training as a Family Support Specialist and (B) at least three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a Family Support Specialist in the mental health or health care field, of which (C) at least one year must have been in a supervisory or professional capacity.
Incumbents may be required to have a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s license at a class level specific to assignment.
Substitutions:
I. An Associate’s degree in psychology, human services, mental health or a closely
related field may be substituted for six months of the required (B) experience.
II. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, human services, mental health or a
closely related field may be substituted for one year of the required (B) experience.
Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines. For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
