As an Echocardiogram Sonographer, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview:
As an Echocardiogram Sonographer, you would be responsible for performing echocardiograms, two dimensional and M-mode with color flow Doppler and Doppler echocardiography on adult and pediatric patients. You will perform stress echocardiograms, Pharmacological stress testing and assists with Transesophageal echocardiograms on adult patients.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/education:
- Must be a graduate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, or meet clinical experience, didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARDMS Application for certification instructions.
- Must have one of the below, or if not already credentialed, must obtain RCS or RDCS within 12 months from time of hire
- Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with credentials as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- Registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
