Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer to support the TMAS2 Tenants effort.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with electrical engineering experience. This role includes the following responsibilities:

• Evaluate contractor proposals for executable plans for major refurbishment and conversion of B-52 pylons and rotary launchers in support of new missile program.

• Manage and technically evaluate changes design and production documentation.

• Analyze and inspect wiring and electrical components.

• Review and provide recommended changes to drawing packages.

• Review and evaluate electrically-oriented program and production process documentation and quality standards.

• Evaluate production Validation and Verification and test plans.

• Recommend suitable substitutions for obsolete parts and evaluate deviations and variations to approved documentation.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline.

• Must have at least 5 years in electrical engineering experience or equivalent.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance.

• Must be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline preferred

Additional Notes

This position requires candidates to possess a current SECRET security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a SECRET security clearance will result in a candidate being ineligible for this position. This requirement is a condition of employment and must be maintained throughout tenure in this role.

This position is located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
