Entry Level Insurance Underwriting Associate

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to rate new and renewal business
• Navigate rating and issuance systems efficiently to ensure timely, accurate policy issuance
• Ensure compliance with company, underwriting, state, and federal regulations
• Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness
• Interpret underwriting manuals, rating guidelines, and workflows; recommend improvements as needed
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting processes and participate in ongoing training
• Collaborate with internal teams and underwriters to address business challenges
• Handle customer service inquiries at the first level
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
