Qualifications
- Focus: Women’s Athletics
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in exercise science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, athletic training, or physical education (other degrees considered).
- Experience: 2–3 years preferred.
- Certifications: Nationally recognized personal training or strength & conditioning certification (e.g., NASM-CPT, NSCA-CPT, CSCS, ACSM, ACE, or equivalent approved by the Human Performance Manager).
- CPR/AED certification required (AHA).
Responsibilities
- Women’s Athletics
- Communicate effectively with diverse groups, including students, coaches, and teams
- Work independently at off-site locations and manage large athletic groups
- Perform assessments and design individualized fitness/performance programs
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to program development
- Promote a safe, clean, and engaging training environment
- Generate client interest and support marketing/outreach efforts
- Stay current with industry best practices and maintain required certifications
- Participate in continuing education and team meetings
- Collaborate with the Human Performance team (Physician, Rehab, Nutrition, Psychology, Sleep, etc.)
