Installation/general maintenance of HVAC and/or Refrigeration equipment
Diagnose and repair problems
Provide service in a variety of commercial settings
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree or certificate in HVAC/R or equivalent experience
EPA Certification for handling refrigeration
PLT license or registered with the state as a Registered Unlicensed PLT; OR ability to apply for Registered Unlicensed PLT within 90 days of start date
Ability to work efficiently given time constraints, extreme weather conditions, varying customer needs and demands, and back-log constraints.
Valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
Mechanical ability and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
After hours/on-call service availability
Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
Proficient in use of computer programs and technology related to the position
Interest and initiative in maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration skills through a combination of self-study, workshops, on the job training and other development activities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to climb up an down a ladder carrying tools, equipment, and/or parts in a safe manner
Ability to lift up to 100lbs as necessary and up to 50lbs repetitively
