Babcock is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Technician to join the Fixed High Frequency Radio Refresh (FHFRR) team based in Waiouru.
About the role
Step into a critical role supporting New Zealand’s defence communications infrastructure. As an HF Radio System Technician, you’ll be part of a dedicated team maintaining and repairing mission-critical radio communication systems. You’ll work on advanced technology, contribute to high-stakes operations, and be trusted to keep systems running seamlessly—day or night. Your work directly supports the security and efficiency of NZDF communications.

You are a hands-on problem-solver with solid experience in radio communications or electronics.
