Financial Analyst (FP&A) Intern – Summer 2025 (PacSci)

PacSci EMC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in finance and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports.

• Support the FP&A team in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform financial analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
• Help maintain and improve financial databases and reporting tools.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the FP&A team.
• Provide administrative support to the FP&A team as needed

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Intellectual curiosity and a results-driven professional

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 41,600.00 – 83,200.00

Is this role subject to ITAR?
